Our taxes
Our taxes are paying for this instead of healthcare.
For 100+ years fossil fuels had subsidies, tax breaks, military protection, pollution externalized & zero carbon pricing. Renewables and EVs get a short-term rebate and suddenly it’s “market distortion.” If combustion was truly superior, it wouldn’t need a century of life support. #Bettrification ⚡

Some valid criticism here of how evidence gets politicised: agreed. But this piece treats “science” as if it hasn’t evolved since the early 2000s. Open science, pre-registration, transparency, and replication studies exist because scientists took those critiques seriously
