Fallout caps stash project using a tobacco tin. Some distressing of the paper and tape needed, my daughter wanted to write her own label too which I will keep inside the tin.

WiP the reaver's legs are coming along. After the cables are painted on to tidying stage, then decals, lightning, and finally wash.

Regular gaming chum has developed a hankering for the Old West (Dead Man's Hand, LotOW etc.)
As a supportive, enthusiastic fellow, my only recourse was to join in.
An eBay bargain, the Desperados set from Great Escape Games. These will get the speed treatment soon(ish.)

Back home yesterday after a few days away with work.
I wasn't in the mood for any detailed painting, so did the big steps on the Kumano for Victory at Sea. Also managed to salvage the USS Northampton from some terrible initial colour choices.

K47 is like Fallout for me, just the right level of bonkers.

Six handles, six figures, keeps the mini's free of fingerprints and grime AND keep the brain focused on these alone. I find six to be the sweet spot for working on this scale figures.
Another recent quality of life improvement.
I'd bought a painting handle (on a whim from GW, there's nowhere else in my city for hobby stuff) and thought it was quite useful.
Picked up another 5, which both keeps a cap on how many minis I work & stops me switching between a dozen different things.
Mjoll and Yrsarald - very happy with these, particularly the metal and leather armour on each.
Derkeethus and the Bleak Falls Guardian. The camera washes out the tunic; it has a bit more depth. The Guardian is a busy model, I feel some of the details get washed away. I think they'll look better with the bases done.
Slower progress with the Elder Scrolls project, mainly because I've switched to painting some characters & wish to take more time on them.
A fun challenge to match the colours to the studio paint jobs without getting hung up on quality.

Nirvana Unplugged gets all of the plaudits but I've always thought Alice in Chains' own effort is tremendous.
Wonderful recording too; turn it up on a decent system, close your eyes & it sounds like Layne Staley has come back from the great beyond.
