Here's the story of masked, plainclothes men β presumably ICE agents, but possibly random kidnappers β taking immigrants in Dallas today
The subject matter! Dana, a black woman in 1970s LA, suddenly gets transported to an 1800s Maryland plantation. It was so hard to read about the treatment of black people, even when they were being treated βfairlyβ.

I finished Under the Dome by Stephen King last night. It was really good, not much horror thank goodness. Definitely some gore & really awful human beings. 4/5 βοΈ Iβm happy to have finally read it too. That 1000 pg beast has been sitting in my Kindle for 12 long years!! ππ

I started Little Women for the first time tonight. (Itβs possible I read it as a young Jenn and forgot.) Of course, I know some big spoilers already. And is it possible it becomes like Anne of Green Gables and is a new favorite? We shall see! ππ
