and I swear this is the last I'll say: I'm still very excited to see what you'll come up with and will most likely buy it. So, keep it up dude!

Like the guy who claims to have found several "lost" mayan ruins with AI and satellites and logic. He claims "no one knew there were ruins there"... but as far as I know and recall, none of his discoveries was new to the locals. Still, no one had had access to the platforms and audience that he had.
In my own lifetime i've seen the "facts" regarding the maya change a lot. And it wasn't even "new knowledge", it was just the academics from all over the world playing tag. And we've seen way too many colonial white experts condescend their way to stardom. They get to write a lot of the books...
yeah, and i do believe their sound is much cooler and ominous than that of any regular whistle, which is why I was surprised.
I actually come from the mayan region (the yucatec mayan region to be precise, which bears mentioning because the maya are... diverse), and I truly wish you the best.
And well, Aztec whistles do make a super cool sound. Conch shell trumpets also sound really cool. I never thought any of those could be described as "wind".
Why aztecs though? Any reason for tapping into that or is that rule of "cool" as well? I'm honestly curious. From Gary Jennings to Grant Morrison, we've seen some... sigh-worthy "representations" in the past. That said, Alan Moore in Tom Strong did something that was as cool as it was respectful...

I'm playing it and liking it. Not better than RE1 remaster, but other than eliminators and that Castlevania giant bat, I'm having a blast. Maybe not playing it back in the day and only doing so now without expectations nor prejudices is doing the trick. Or maybe I'm just one of them "sickos".
I see the efforts english speakers do to properly pronounce french, german and japanese. I wonder why, when it comes to spanish they refuse to acknowledge their horrible tendency to emphasize the wrong syllable.
On a side note, I confess that seeing the ñ converted into an n also seems... Careless.
I also seem to recall that, not only was the dog the best, his real life name was amusingly "Primo".
Accurate
Don't even try to bring up tarkovski.
I love that! in México at least, that day is the "prank day" that April 1st is for the US. So, April's fools is to us, the us version of holy innocent's day. A great day to release an album!
I don't know man, something like that might have to be reserved for Tom Votava, Frezyman, Andrew G, Uyama, Dragondarch, the TSSB dudes. And I'd rather stop here before I start dreading not remembering other names. Well, your sis of course. I think you got a pretty good case for yourself in that list
Unc or Unk is actually just Malachi Constant
I loved your old content but I dig what you are doing now so much more. Love the energy, the voice and the unfiltered love of games that you always show. Keep it up, dude!
Well, I know for a fact magikarps can jump higher than any other pokemon. As long as a Pidgey doesn't eat them, of course
The image is a picture of some dinosaurs and the comet that ultimately destroyed them with the text "God after figuring out dinosaurs would never create Quest 64"
Uhm, not in México at least. Here we celebrate from November the 1st and 2nd. Yucatán (which is also in México) has a version that goes from oct 31st to Nov 2nd. That said, by all means, celebrate as long as you want!
It's still Day of the Dead in México (it actually lasts like 3 days) so you can argue it still counts.

Sweet home and Laplace's Demon might be at least interesting. I think they're great but I get why some might not get into them.
This is absolutely exciting. I grew up in Yucatán (ans in México city, I suppuse) and, growing up, seeing certain differences between the experiences I had compared to the anglocentrist internet consensus has always surprised me a bit. Not always in a good way.
So, today I'm announcing a new book project... and doing a call for papers: crpgbook.wordpress.com/2025/10/31/t...
It's an anthology of video game history outside the usual US perspective - an accessible & exciting panorama of different realities - and I'll pay 300 USD per article.
Please share :)

El tortero sentenció: "Perro no come perro".
Aren't these the blood drinking boobies?
Can you believe It took me a while to figure out that Romaly was, well, Italy.
