I didn't really get the concept of boundaries and that everyone's are different until a few years ago. I'd just anxiously look for social cues or put up w stuff that made me uncomfortable until I'd snap at ppl like that randomly. Unless they stated they don't like tags/reviews you weren't at fault.
I was just thinking about that. Oh boy! I've finally gotten to the point in my life where people are willing to pay in the hundreds for commissions... And... Oh... Now that barely pays for groceries or my phone bill so I have to have a second job anyway. 👩🏻🎨 - cool.
After the unfortunate break up of "Three Dog Night" little was heard of from the band until now with 2 of 3 of the members returning as "Two Dog Day".
I just noticed I meant to put "either unfollow or mute" but didn't complete the thought. Personally I think a big following doesn't entitle them to spamming your DMs while ignoring your replies. That behavior is just weird/rude unless you already indicated you were a fan willing to do whatever.
I'd say if you're a fan of their work appreciate the interaction for what it is but if you were looking for other artists to interact with as equals then either unfollow them. They're showing you what they want through their actions and if it's not what you want them you don't owe them anything.

I think because if you do the social butterfly thing and surround yourself with anyone interested just for the sake of not feeling alone, it can cause you to feel even more alone then just learning to enjoy your own company in between spending time with the ppl you're actually comfortable around.

IMO, This is what is needed. It would protect commissioners and artists by having an app that runs on reviews, prompts artists and commissioners to work out dates on a calendar to work on the commission, receive progress by and a completion time it's needed by.

Wow. That's gorgeous. I've seen how brown and grey paper makes color pencil pop but this is some whole other level for night scenes and bio luminescence effects. I want to try it now.
Yeah. I hear that. I know it's a balancing act because avoiding anything and everything negative or trying to brush it off can turn into toxic positivity or a warped perspective from snuggling into my own preferable echo chamber but I think I've worked out a decent balance of it all finally.
