After 9 yeareals, it's finally my turn to post the "a thousand cereals" clip, seeing as how I'm the idiot who made it.

sadly, it seems like the goal of modern technology isn't to do cool stuff but to instead try and deceive, seduce, and eventually replace human people.
Ultimately though, my capacity for bad news has been thoroughly sated by everything else.
Now, I just want to be hopeful and optimistic about the future of the Pokemon franchise.
I thought there was something familiar about that device!
I wonder if more cartridges past the Pokemon ones will be made, or if people will be able to make Homebrew cartridges for it!
Yeah, and I imagine it's a lot less scary when the 10 foot cyborg is just pointing a super soaker at you rather than some arm or shoulder cannon that could be firing something far more dangerous.
although a blastoise-style water cannon would be a bit much anyways.
Ah, so those ARE water guns those two are wielding! and looking at pictures of this event, it does look like a fun time!
Also wonder if any of these robot characters thought to install a water cannon on themselves for this event, maybe that's a bit much and it's easer to just grab a super soaker.
...like, it'd be cool if we started seeing battling events at local game store, and all it would take is an app download for any curious visitors to join in.
Hell, I hope this becomes something kids play in the playground on recess like we did back in the GB/A times, better that then brainrot.
also, I'm honestly kinda interested in PokΓ©mon champions being on mobile as well as on switch. for what we think will be a battle simulator, that would make it very accessible to get people on board as it now has a much lower cost of entry...
water festival? what's that about? (I mean other than water)
... it's all reductive, vibes driven arguments in reaction to 4 Pokemon (incineroar and the Gen 8 starters), not only that but there's literally hundreds of PokΓ©mon out there that do what you want!
Maybe this helps to keep folks from just solo-leveling their starter only in the main games.
...most of the starters becoming bipeds has been a thing since gen 1. and don't give me any of that "they look like monsters" crud either because you're not gonna be able to draw the line where a bipedal starter stops "looking like a monster"...
So with the release of new starters comes another few months of folks bemoaning the chance that they (or lets be real here, the dog specifically) becomes a biped.
I find it annoying because it's a very arbitrary and ill defined stance that never really lasts after the forms are revealed...
It very much is a starter thing, there's a greater push for them to be big and heroic (like digimon) both for fan appeal but also for supplemental media like animations and spinoff games, and being quad can be very limiting in terms of action and animation, just look at samurott for example.
I'm kinda neutral to this sentiment a lot of the time, this is only ever a concern (let alone issue) with the few starters people particularly liked, and in the end, people wanted that for sprigatito but loved what she became anyways.
...It may also just be a problem of theming, where if the legendary is going to be some ancient supernatural force of nature, then it's pretty easy to just make a dragon and/or psychic type. Ogrepon and Pecharunt took a different course by not being deities necessarily.
yeah but a lot of them were seen as duds, like groudon for example. so if they want to make sure the box legend is hyped then making them dragon or psychic is often a safe bet...
alas, legendaries can only be "good" types because they want them to be strong and powerful, so it's only dragon and psychic, and maybe steel and fairy if we're feeling a little spicy.
They've been doing this since gen 2, it's why lugia isn't water/flying.
I'd certainly like to hit you up for something in my card game down the road.
kinda just a mix of style and the variety of characters you'll do.
... And then there's the friend who's a gopher, he just grabs a stone shovel and makes his base underground. He probably has a wood house on the surface but the whole base is always underground.
... Or your other friend who's a weaver bird, you have to remember that the front door at every one of their bases just leads to a decorated room with nothing in it. The real door is always some small hidden pathway further away. Again it's just how they like to build things...

Perhaps to continue with the Minecraft analogy, say your friend's a squirrel and in Minecraft all their stuff is put into single-chests hidden all around their general base. They're not hiding it from anyone, that's just how they like to organize things...
... Be interesting to think about the types of entertainment made to gamify ancient survival habits in a society where most of that isn't needed anymore.
... Like imagine in a furry setting, you're playing Minecraft with your friend who is a beaver, and at the start they always want to first find a river in game, and then build their starter house on top of it in the form of a crude dam.
Would they have mods to always spawn near a river too?...
Interesting thing to think about is imagining how anthros cope with vestigial instinctual behavior, we've got many of them too as humans and I've seen stuff about exotic animals in captivity having hardwired behaviors, like young beavers creating little blockades in hallways...
we've been steadily working on card art for this game, some more complete than others but the ultimate goal is to get something on each card, we can refine it down the road.
Wanted to share a collage of some of the card images we've done thus far. it's fun to see a variety of styles on display.
Wanted to share some of the amazing work Halcifer has done in our card game so far.
In Ballonomancy you can use magic run stickers to make your balloons even more swole than normal! that's one of the tactics green players like to employ, as their strategy is to get big and win big!
That's rough, hopefully you can get a replacement soon, always sucks when expensive equipment goes out on you.
