Maybe it’s just me. I’ve also had to deal with me asking “would Tuesday work for you?” as somehow making plans for Tuesday, when I was literally just asking a question (to which I never received an answer).

Saying I’d love to hang out, several times, after an event several days hence, to no response, makes me think it’s not a good time for it. I’m not ‘changing plans’, I didn’t know we had plans.

I’m of the last generation who had to grow up offline (I didn’t see the internet until I was 19, and that was internet 1.0), and the first generation to raise kids who were all online. It was and remains *tough*. I agree with you, 100%.
