A wonderful artist. He painted but also designed the amazing Coventry Cathedral tapestry Christ in Glory.
I must read more Donne. Thanks for the prompt!
Definitely. Love that idea.
Always happy to follow your lead!
Great picture but from memory Larkin was not a big fan of Christmas!
We did! Really liked Ljubljana and had a wonderful day at Bled.
Is the same true of the Speckled Wood? Recently started monitoring in S.Dorset and amazed by the proliferation of these lovely butterflies.
Wandering around the streets of Trieste we came across a large photography exhibition. Turns out it was a retrospective of the wonderful work of the American photographer Steve McCurry. Really amazing work although I couldnβt help thinking about male gazes.
Wow! Hope you survived!
Some very good shadows here in Venice on the last day of the Biennale.
Fair point. But it is tempting to search his images for something more profound.

Hi Helen! Hope alls well at Warwick. Thanks for reaching out.
Itβs probably sacrilege to say this but Iβm not a fan of Larkinβs photographs. I know he was a keen photographer but having looked at those at the Hull archive I would say he was enthusiastic but not much more.
What a contrast!
Venetian sun and shadows.

That sounds fun! And nice to see you being honoured!
How very true. The curtain not reaching the window sill is so evocative.
A grey day in London. But itβs not raining!
Just joined Bluesky! Really feels like Twitter which is good. Now off in search of friends!
