🧵 This is a perfect example of what I've be describing as disordered discourse, and it's threat to democracy. Politicians are afraid to speak openly about key issues.
Why? Because disordered discourse has captured the system itself—forcing obedience, punishing dissent, and making truth irrelevant.
What the White House position actually means:
It is unacceptable that President Zelensky wants to keep fighting to liberate the nearly 5 million Ukrainians who continue to be raped, tortured, starved, and murdered under occupation by the Russian fascists.
Sometimes it feels like I’m going crazy, because there is something that is right in front of our faces, has been for years, and nobody of consequence ever says it:
Donald Trump works for Vladimir Putin.
How much more proof does anyone need? And what is anybody going to do about it?
This was the plan all along
“Friday, February 28, 2025, will go into the history books as one of the grimmest days in American diplomacy,” writes @radiofreetom.bsky.social.
Now “Putin, along with other dictators around the world, can finally look at Trump with confidence and think: one of us”: theatln.tc/FHJeRVAj
Given that the Trump people did nothing to induce Russia to end the war, it’s fair to conclude that the whole idea of pursuing peace was just a pretext to renew relations with Russia.
Donald Trump has disgraced the United States of America in countless ways since he first entered political life ten years ago.
But he had never disgraced the nation as badly as he did today.
He has brought shame on this country to an extent I had never thought possible. And he has only just begun.
Regardless, I would keep the outbox focused on guaranteeing the messages transactionality.
However, message brokers are specialized tools, with more functionality and performance than a DB.
Not to mention the decoupling they provide, cozz using the DB means the consumer would need to know about the producer DB...
Maybe I'm misinterpreting him and going further than what he suggests...?
I felt the same. He is adding the list of subscribers and the point at which each of them are in the stream. Both Kafka and rabbitmq, and even Redis, already do that. So he is transforming the outbox into a message broker, where then the message brokers would be unnecessary.
🚨 Russia: Putin regime enforcers raided 3 largest Moscow nightclubs on Friday night —
Simachev, Mutabor/ARMA and Mono.
Many men taken to the military conscription offices.
Women eventually released after their passports were photographed.
Raids with police K9s lasted for hours.
