Yeah man absolutely. Knowledge of history doesn't seem that common these days. Hopefully the history books survive, the fascists in charge want to burn them and rewrite history to suit their shitty world view.

Of course it is! Everyone should travel if they can afford to. I have known plenty of sheltered and ignorant people that can't bring themselves to leave the area they have always lived in though, usually because they are scared and racist.
Yeah that wouldn't be helping but most of those people are so bigoted and ignorant they probably wouldn't even want to travel and certainly not live among other cultures, they support driving out the immigrants. Fearful of anything they don't understand and anyone that isn't like them.
Partly, but I doubt most of those people even pay attention to any news at all, even Fox. After all, their hero says it's fake news. Also, if we are aware of the bullshit PR machine, why are so many others unable to figure it out? Maybe the hateful dogwhistling resonates with something within them.

If it's not the bumping, they make this "tsk" sound or grunt when passing you, I guess to show their disapproval of your presence. Very weird and stupid and so unnecessary.
These Butsukari guys are pathetic, passive aggressive and petty. I've been in Japan for the past 3 weeks and encountered many of them. They bumped into my partner (Japanese F) and me (white M) on several occasions. They change their path to bump and then run off into the crowds like little bitches.
