The elephant to me looks like AI in the sense that it could have been made by someone going "please generate me an ice cream elephant" and then making a model based on the AI's output which isn't an uncommon occurrence. But the image itself no I don't think it's AI
For sure my initial reaction was not "this is AI" but "this looks like kitbashing". The photos look posed but not in the way AI images are posed, instead the way SFM or Blender scenes are commonly posed
I feel like "X but made of Y" is a common genre of AI generated image but I realize this is impossible to quantify at this point. Because most people who say "this looks like AI" are incorrect

YEAH FOR SURE it's difficult to explain if you aren't inside it. I really have to imagine it's because of how rapidly technology changed. Even to this day I'm still more comfortable using a computer than a smartphone and I think that kind of sets one up to identify with the older age bracket

It probably says more about me as a person though that when Cars 2 came out I perceived myself as "too old" for it even though, objectively, I was eleven years old.
I feel among millennials there's the strong perception that Cars is the first "weak" Pixar film and the only dud in its golden age (and obviously Cars 2 has the reputation of being the one that "ended" the golden age) but gen Z seems to be much fonder of it and Cars 2 defenders do actually exist now
I think a lot about which generation I am. It's weird being born in 2000 since people don't agree on whether that's the end of gen Y or the start of gen Z so it's hard to identify strongly with either. But I saw a video called "You Don't Understand How Much Gen Z Loves Cars" and yep! I sure don't!

For some reason the thing that sticks out most to me about the second screenshot is that it's going for the 3D Mario art style but the 3D Mario games ever since Mario Galaxy have an extremely distinctive style of dust cloud particle effects they always use and they didn't bother to match that here
