I think what that boils down to is how realistic the character is. The hots for a pdf file would def be weird to me cause that's unfortunately a common crime with common people and common victims. Psycho in a human experiment facility, a half alien that sets the world on fire is not as relatable

Hard agree. However, I do question when people lose their minds and simp for VERY questionable characters (see Hisoka). Liking him as a villain is perfectly fine, but having the hots for him is icky and I will think those people are icky. Nuance
