And again, as someone who is also polyamorous and puts an immense amount of effort into education and understanding, it’s disheartening to hear. But what I see is someone who just doesn’t understand the full picture, not someone trying to invalidate us.

I’ve seen every Reddit Story video and it seems like they just genuinely don’t understand polyamory. It’s “easy” to critique open relationships because of the prevalence of unhealthy situationships, and I think they are wrongly conflating that with polyamory when they are two different things :(
