Losing an hour of sleep on International Womenβs Day feels on brand for 2026.

Just happy to be here and scream into the abyss with some likeminded friends π« My love language is sarcasm. π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈπΊπ¦πΈπΆππ± βThere is a god, her name is Karma, and she has a sick sense of humor.β Occasionally Iβll post some of my arts and crafts.
Losing an hour of sleep on International Womenβs Day feels on brand for 2026.
The U.S. economy lost 92,000 jobs in February.
A record number of Americans are withdrawing from their 401ks to cover expenses.
Americans owe $18.5 trillion in debt β an historic high.
Meanwhile, the wealth of America's 935 billionaires soared by $1.5 trillion in 2025.
βGolden Ageβ for whom?
A wise administration wouldnβt start another war in the Middle East.
A competent administration wouldnβt bomb an elementary school full of children on day 1 of the war they started.
They are neither.
I guess tomorrow is international womenβs day, but we donβt celebrate that in a country that doesnβt value women. I mean, just look at the Epstein files and abortion laws.
The lack of media coverage about the bombing of the girls elementary schools is shocking.
Theyβre raping people on your dime.
Spending $1 Billion a day on a war no one wanted, is not a great motivation to work on my taxes. I just want health care and bodily autonomy, so this feels like taxation without representation.
Until men hold other men accountable, women wonβt trust that justice can be served. Until then we will be blamed and called nasty things for simply existing around men. International Womenβs Day is this month, but we donβt celebrate that in a country that can be bothered to see women as humans.
Grief is weird and today itβs deciding to be a jerk. I miss my dog.

Amongst all the other things that have happened this week, we are still in a partial government shutdown right?
The U.S. war on Iran is now estimated to cost $1 billion per day. Meanwhile Americans are told thereβs no money for healthcare, hospitals, or basic social programs.
ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. Sheβs married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.
Theyβve already sent her to Louisiana.
The reason we have βstupid rules of engagementβ is to make sure we donβt bomb elementary schools.
Under Trump, the USA doesn't have money to fix our crumbling roads and bridges. We don't have money for child care or schools. The VA has eliminated over 10,000 health care positions due to lack of funding.
But $1 billion a day for Trump's war of choice is no problem.
βYouβre a U.S. senator!β
Bernie stops Noemβs replacement from literally trying to fight someoneππ½
This should go great

So far the war in Iran has cost an estimated $5.5 billion.
That's roughly $1 billion per day.
$41,666,667 per hour.
$11,574 per second.
People do not want this.
They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.
Since the Dow is under 50,000, can we talk about the Epstein files again?
I wonβt lie, I did not have βholy warβ on my 2026 bingo card. Go to war, yes. War because of false religious beliefs, no. Obviously I know itβs a war about oil and money, but the made up religious crusade aspect was a minor curveball.
I see all the things they warned would happen under a democrat president, republicans are doing. Moving forward every time a republican slams a democrat for a possible future action, we should know that is the republican plan. Every accusation is a confession.
β¦
Iβm just waiting for the day another country decides we no longer need our president the same way our president has decided other countries donβt need their leaders.
How is this not a red flag of mental decline? I guess we just add it to the long list of reasons to impeach him, that no one is reading. The lack of action is really beyond frustrating at this point.
Makes perfect sense to me...
Americans stranded in the Middle East say the State Department hotline Marco Rubio told them to call plays a recorded message warning: βPlease do not rely on the U.S. government for assisted departure or evacuation at this time.β
You couldn't make this shit up.
Whenever a Republican lies about needing to look into something the follow up question should be βwhat day should I expect a follow up statement from you after youβve learned more about the situation?β
So many American children are forced to recite a pledge to a flag saying ββ¦liberty and justice for allβ daily, just to be thrust into a country with limited liberty and little justice for anyone.
