πMassive congratulations to Lubna Ahmad, who successfully defended her PhD thesis yesterday!
π
We celebrated all this year's accomplishments with great festive cheer last night.
We were joined by @stephensammut.bsky.social on the last day. Many thanks for coming all the way from London and sharing your insights with us!
We even had time for some archery!
We are back from a wonderful Lab retreat in Spixworth, where we had a chance to discuss ongoing and coming projects.
We are offering a PhD studentship to explore the biological links between breast cancer and obesity. Our team uses novel spatial imaging methods to characterise and map tissue architecture in large datasets of clinical trial samples. Apply here: www.cruk.cam.ac.uk/vacancies/cr...
And from Heidelberg at the #EMBLSpatialBiology we can report that Ellen Schrader, a PhD student in the Lab, won one of the poster prizes. #ESSB2025
Congratulations!
We are happy to announce that Research Associate Matteo Naldini, who just joined us this summer, was awarded an ESMO Research Fellowship @myesmo.bsky.social.
Congratulations! #ESMO25
Our open call for a PhD studentship closes next Sunday the 17th! More info below:
Join us at the upcoming EACR conference on Cancer Genomics, Multiomics & Computational Biology in Essen! Details below:
π’ We are looking for a PhD student to join us in April 2026! If you are interested in breast cancer pathology, epidemiology, and single-cell spatial data analysis, please apply.
