Iโve often thought ride sharing credits would be an effective way of reducing transportation barriers for employment for those recentering society after incarceration.
Really neat evidence that it works for one group of often marginalized individuals! ๐๐ฝ

Always grateful to @voxdev.bsky.social for the opportunity to disseminate research to a wider audience. Alessandra Voena and I discuss women's power and agency at home -- why it matters and which policies can increase it -- in their latest podcast.

No retirement or disability issues looming ahead, right?

Powell says he is concerned about the impact of cuts at the statistical agencies. High-quality statistics are "a huge public good," he says. "I hate to see us cutting back on that... I would want to continue investing in that for the good of the general public."

In honor of long COVID awareness day, I wanted to speak about what my experience is like, 25 months in.
I am much better but still only leave the house a couple times a week.
