It looks like the emotes didn't parse properly maybe because of a zero-width character in the message? Unfortunately I don't have a fix for this right now but it's something I'll look into finding a solution for! I've seen similar issues with parsing messages that have compounded emojis

For anyone who was looking for a way to copy your SquonkChat settings! It's not the most user-friendly but it's still possible if you need to make a backup or share with a friend! 👍

To transfer these settings to another OBS setup, open the Console in the same way. Overwrite the settings with the ones you copied from before by entering the following:

localStorage.setItem("squonkCHATsettings", <copied text goes here>)

Refresh the settings dock and the settings will apply!

To copy all of your setting values, right click anywhere within the settings dock, click "Inspect," then select the "Console" tab and enter the following:

localStorage.getItem("squonkCHATsettings")

Copy all of the red text!

There isn't a built-in way to transfer the settings, but it's possible to copy all the settings and paste them into the dock on another OBS setup through the console in the inspect menu! I can provide instructions if you're interested!

it's a couple of html files that work as a browser source and a dock! once you have the chatbox set up how you like, you can remove the dock and the chatbox will still function on its own. so no external application needs to be running!

Hi Cage! Yes, you can use local fonts! It can't list local fonts in the menu due to the limits of JavaScript permissions, but if you know the exact name of the font, you can type it into the input! The quick tips pdf that came with SquonkChat has a bit more info on getting your exact font names

To update, download the new zip and replace both your browser source and the settings menu dock URL. Open the settings menu at least once and you're good to go! Your settings will transfer automatically ヾ(⌐■_■)ノ♪

I won't be doing any complex customization features! it's meant to fill the need for a mostly default but functional chatbox. I want to make sure there's still a market for more specified branded chatboxes out there for those who make them! (also might be something I'll get into in the future)
