Im but one generation removed from the civil rights era. My mom was born in 1960. My maternal grand father in 1924. I was born in 1998. History is not that long ago.

Its exhausting watching my amazing Black wife who is incredibly talented and educated continue to be overlooked for roles and even in her current position.

Its alright. These past 5 years have been… something.

It hasn’t been fun at all. Im 27 and have been through both administrations. Covid had my bachelors graduation ceremony cancelled in 2020. Im sick of hearing the word unprecedented.

I enjoy working in restaurants!!! there I said it. I like working back of house and can’t wait to work front of house!! I am a hopsitality professional thru and thru and this MBA will show that more and more.
