I think that, believe it or not, some people do need reminding.

Just saw someone refer to the โmale loneliness epidemicโ as the โmale consequences epidemicโ and I just think thatโs so much more accurate.
Why, you might ask, do the BBC and Sky News, casting their editorial guidelines to the wind, keep giving massive airtime to the far right, while shutting out leftwing voices? Don't their bosses understand the likely consequences?
Only one explanation now remains.
They do.
And it is what they want.
Don't say I didn't warn you! It's only become worse!

The Green Party donโt get as much media coverage as Reform because the continuation of civilised human life on the planet isnโt as interesting as cunts.
People interpret this as "AI is biased towards lefty liberal ideology".
I interpret this as "lefty liberal ideology is candid and evidence-based".
You know the Tories have hit a new low when Patel is defending Trump... Yet, Farage isn't. ๐
Good point!
Hi Folks,
Most of you know I work as a Psychotherapist with military veterans. I've also just written a self-help book for service people and veterans moving through transition to civilian life.

Yuck... I'm surprised social media pop psychology hasn't changed this opinion, as much as I hate that too.
Defo. The influence of music is a tiny part of the overall formulation of someone's violence. Whilst it's a 'disinhibitor' in the forensic sense, it's still very external... people turn to these when ignoring a lot of internal drivers and disinhibitors for violence, which is a defence response.
The Dunning-Kruger effect in its wild form...
I despair when I see this channel on the telly in the communal area of the secure wards.
They announced that their owl got run over by a Cybertruck (which is icky enough), then got highlighted for it on the bad social media site and have clearly entered into some kind of joint agreement and/or are showing submission to their new masters.
This is what happens when we ridicule and ostracise people, unfortunately. They get pushed further to the fringes and their views become more ingrained. They're then welcomed by others who have been through the same.
She was never coming back from what she did and the response that followed.
I used to have so much respect for Duolingo and their mission but now that they're cuddling up to the neo-Nazis, the owl can get in the bin.
An important point to keep in mind.
So you're telling me that The Telegraph are only just getting to grips with how proportional taxation works?
There's a bunch of people who insist the abuse they suffered as children never did them any harm and so they fantasise about everyone else suffering the same trauma.
I'm here to tell them that they did in fact come to considerable harm and that they are too damaged to be trusted with all our future
Word of the day is โmatutolypeaโ: extreme grumpiness in the morning.
From the Latin โMatutaโ, Roman goddess of the dawn, and the Greek โlypeโ, โgriefโ. Put them together and you get โmorning griefโ.
In another week of the USA igniting conversations in forensic psychology, I have to ask...
What conclusions can be drawn about the state of respect for justice when (a) a convicted offender holds the highest possible office and (b) has used this position to pardon other convicted offenders?
I dedicated years of my life to reporting on January 6 and exposing what happened. I was there that day, co-wrote a book, and published a series of major stories on my own, for Rolling Stone, and for TPM.
I hope it mattered. I hope history will remember and understand what happened.
Chart showing a sharp fall in violent crime in England & Wales from 1995 to 2015 and a smaller fall after that.
Chart showing the percentage of people in England and Wales identifying as something other than White British increasing from 12% in 2001 to 25% in 2021.
People won't want to believe it, but the best evidence we have shows that an increase in people who say they're not "White British" in England & Wales correlates with a big fall in violent crime.
Hey, sorry - these aren't my lists. Only the owner can add people! Try searching the list to see if anyone else posted it claiming they made it?

How it feels arguing on social media:
"...Even supposing this is all correct, is extra-judicial killing warranted? At first, it seems like the answer has to be โnoโ..." Saba Bazargan-Forward on the ethics of the killing of Brian Thompson.
The public's response to the killing of a health insurance CEO has been an interesting point of discussion in my community forensic psychology team.
At what point do we consider something to be 'violent' and how would we define 'murder'?
Are there more acceptable motives for murder than others?
