Survey: Two out of three SDCCD students struggle with food and/or housing insecurity
To address food and housing insecurity among students, the districtβs colleges are offering numerous resources and help for their students who need assistance.
A recent survey reveals that 67% of students at the SDCCD are struggling with basic needs like food and housing.
But help is available including:
- Food pantries, farmers markets
- Hygiene products, clothing closets
- Transit passes, gas cards
- Emergency grants, support services
