This raises concerns that the focus on getting disabled people into work, is neglecting the issues of disabled people who are already in work, and who are being failed. Access to Work is imploding at the moment, and there seems to be little to no accountability for it.
"This month the Disability Pay Gap reached a staggering 17.2%. This means non-disabled employees earn on average Β£2.35/hr more than disabled workers, that's an average of Β£4,300 a year, as research by the Trades Union Congress."
