true, I just worry it's too far in the other direction where they'll just keep being all fluff and little substance.
I feel the Sonic movies are slowly finding that right middle ground with 3, I just hope Mario and the future Zelda movie will be alright going forward

so like... where do we even go with a third Mario Movie?
is this when we'll start seeing movies for some of the sub series like Luigi's Mansion and Donkey Kong?
cause I feel jumping straight to Galaxy means the scale of any future Mario movie is gonna be a massive step down...

god the Mario Galaxy movie really is just gonna be an overstuffed easter egg smorgasbord ain't it, honestly if it was any other franchise I would probably complain but Mario's not exactly a super story driven game anyway so I'm quite happy to just divulge into some sweet sweet fanservice
