Assessing cover crop nutrition values this morning to get a handle on potential nitrogen and other elements being recycled to the spring cash crop. 1 mt/sg harvested ✂️, weighted green and will be dried for dm/ha calc. Green sample to lab tomorrow for analysis. Labrador assistant for scale.
I sort of feel that when my steps count is more than 10k but in reverse. You’ve accumulated, I’ve expended 😄

The day will be split into 2 starting at 9am. We will spend the morning in the fields, then take a lunch break, followed by a presentation from Frederic going into more details on cover crops, soil fertility and regenerative agriculture. We estimate the finish to be at 3pm.
