This is my second diverticulitis flare up—my first time I had to go to the hospital and was admitted for the weekend 🙃 hoping to avoid that now that I know what it is, forcing myself to stay in bed and doing a clear liquid diet. Open to any and all tips if anyone else has dealt with this before

At brunch with my best friend and an old man came up to us and said “wow, you two are big eaters—don’t have to worry about you starving today!”. The interaction was so bizarre we have not been able to stop laughing

New Fiji who dis

FINALLY boarded. Visiting my bestie who I met on tumblr.com over a decade ago and who I ended up living with in New York City. We lived in a single bedroom with no kitchen and I was always drinking a Fiji back then since the only water source was the bathtub (LOL). So I got one for old times sake.

Ok that last post was misleading. I no longer travel every week. I married a boy from Oregon and live a simple country life now.

As someone who traveled every week for years since I was a child (divorced parents) my top two packing tips are:

- Always pack a bathing suit, even if you’re going someplace cold (you never know)
- Other then that, pack light—gives you a excuse to shop if you need extra outfit options 😈
