The Kitsap County Elections Canvassing Board meets at 9 a.m., today to review ballot signatures and any other issues in preparation for election certification on Friday. The meeting is open to the public and viewable at kitsap.gov/elections.

Mailing your ballot? The US Postal Service recommends you do so by Tuesday, February 3.
The US Postal Service recommends, and we agree, that if you're using mail to return your ballot, do it at least a week before election day. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, February 10.

We received multiple requests to open the ballot drop boxes in Silverdale at the skate/dog park (The skate park and dog park are separate, but we've seen videos of dogs on skateboards.) and at the KCSO substation. Go to www.kitsap.gov/auditor/Page... to see a list and a map of drop box locations.
Accessible Voting Units help voters with disabilities to vote in private.
Stop by any time! Ballot drop boxes are available around the clock and remain open until 8 p.m. sharp on Election Day. Ballots deposited in drop boxes are picked up by elections staff and taken directly to our processing center.

Special Election, February 10, 2026 Bremerton North Kitsap School Districts Your Official Ballot
Ballots for voters in the Bremerton and North Kitsap School Districts were mailed yesterday. Ballots will begin arriving today.
Wondering if you will receive a Special Election ballot? Log into VoteWa.gov. Ballots will be mailed January 20.
Voters in the North Kitsap and Bremerton school district boundaries will be part of the Feb. 10, 2026 Special Election. If you're not sure if you live within one of those boundaries, log into VoteWA.gov to see if you will be receiving a ballot.

Voters in the NK School District will have two measures to vote on and voters in the Bremerton School District will have one in the February 10 Special Election. Read the arguments for and against the measures online at kcowa.us/lvp. The arguments will also be included in your voters' pamphlets.
In observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, all County administrative offices will be closed on Dec. 25, 2025, and Jan. 1, 2026. The following facilities are also reporting changes:
