It's surreal to be finally getting to show off such awesome stuff about our game while the world is kinda terrifying, but I'm so proud of our work.

Such a fun showcase of the beautiful worlds the team has been crafting.
On our latest podcast we interviewed @capothedev.bsky.social & @jograylock.bsky.social of @sprocketgames.bsky.social about their upcoming Project Cosmos. Let us know what you think!

Hey look, it's our actual video game!
Last post of the year, where we look back at a few milestones from the year.
A lot of my older ones were, but as I've gauged up, I've bought a lot less custom stuff. I do miss having more show pieces, but I lose so many, and a shocking number of folks still stare at a 40+ person that still has gauges.
The absolute terror of realizing I am missing an earring/gauge, and having to retrace my steps for who knows how long. Shocking how easy it is to lose a piece of wood the size of a marble.
This hurts my soul, but does make sense. Comparing his recent films to Duelists or Alien, it's hard to imagine they were made by the same person.
As the down period goes longer, even when the industry starts to recover, the talent train will be awful.
So many folks that are so brilliant will just do something else. This happens in games a little all the time, but in the longer downturns, we can lose access to whole generations of devs.
I have such a deep love in my heart for metal songs that build up for at least seven minutes to finally explode in the last thirty seconds. I feel like that sort of experience is waaaay too rare outside of metal (and orchestral).
Great for focus work too.
The new steam recording/clipping feature is so nice for QA and Playtesting. Getting everyone using OBS or Nvidia tools was generally asking them to enable a whole new tool. The steam recording is so much easier. Thank you @valvesoftware.bsky.social!
I know I have a few new homeowner friends. If you can, now may be a very good time to schedule that appliance replacement or contractor work you were putting off. Between tariffs and deportations, it might be more expensive to do these things soon.
Also, tip your repair techs and contractors.
Any day where you eat lunch before someone talks about dinner is a victory.
New post days are some of my favorite days.
A picture of my dog Falkor, who has very large ears, waiting for me to throw a ball with his eyes glowing very brightly.
Hello new followers! I am a potato this week due to stacking some Project Cosmos playtesting on top of normal game director stuff, but will try to be more chatty soon! Laser dog as apology.
Thank you! Found a bunch of people I was missing here!
Hey, it's progress! I got lapped a few times during the last playtest week.
And I apparently flip into 90's stereotypical valley girl when I'm tired but over caffeinated? Who knew?
Going to try to like, actually use this, but today was a day where I was really proud that I had lunch before my partner had started to make dinner, so like, baby steps.
Newsletter post!
Today we have some very exciting news! We're currently accepting signups for playtesting! The slots are limited, but this is only the first round!
Also, I technically started in 2001 with my first games internship, and QA stuff. Something something edit button.
I refuse to use the same formatting for two posts in a row. I'm somewhat sorry.
