I don’t understand this at all. When I was new to Boston and asked why the hell all the nurses on this unit are wearing the same bracelet, it turned into everyone swapping stories and memories about trips to the shop. There’s no magic in buying it from Etsy.

I’m visiting friends in Cleveland next month and technically I can take the Amtrak. From Boston, it will take 15 hrs and arrive at 3:45 am. So like it’s possible but that’s a hard sell even for me and I love train travel.

What if I, as a parent, don’t WANT to be the primary decision maker in my children education because…I do not have a degree in education??? What if I prefer someone who knows what they are doing does that instead and I teach them stuff I know about when they’re home??? Like how society should work??

This sounds like just what I need. I’m a great cook if I have a recipe but want to get better at improvising and creating meals with whatever I have on hand.
