A: We will not be running a side zine, but the mods would like to encourage everyone to continue creating Dr. Ratio content and to run other Dr. Ratio-centric events where anyone is welcome!

Q: Obviously the zine itself is SFW, but for the portfolio are NSFW pieces allowed to be submitted? A: Portfolio pieces should be written or drawn in the style you would use for the zine, so we'd like to see examples of your SFW pieces! Since SFW and NSFW writing can require different skillsets, writer portfolios should be SFW only. Artist portfolios are an exception and may contain some NSFW examples if they are the best representation of your preferred artstyle.
Q: While the zine is SFW, is it alright for the portfolio to include NSFW pieces?
A: Please submit work in the style you would like to use for the zine! Writer portfolios must only contain SFW samples. Artists may submit NSFW if necessary, but please tag!
Q: Would a collaborative comic be possible (fic + comic)? Is it acceptable or discouraged to mention a potential collab partner in the application? A: Yes, a fic and accompanying comic or other piece would be allowed. However, collabs will not be established until after contributors have been accepted (I.E. You cannot apply specifically as a collaboration team). Contributors may collab with any other contributor once accepted. Mentioning a collab partner will not affect your application or theirs!
Q: Are collabs possible and may we mention a potential collab partner in the application?
A: Yes, we absolutely allow collabs. However, collabs will not be established until after contributors have been accepted. Mentioning a collab partner doesn't affect your app or theirs!
Q: Is there any chance that the zine will be delivered overseas? A: As this zine is digital-only, we will not be delivering any physical products. The PDF will be accessible from any country that can order using BigCartel. However, you can print it out yourself if you wish!
