He lives in Wells now? I wrote about him when I was at the Monitor eons ago!
Itβs a magnificent piece of writing!
Great stuff. The Monitor was such a great place to work at.
When I interned at the Herald, I covered a game Ewing played in against Don Bosco. He was amazing as a HS kid.
Thank you!
I met Robert Duvall once in Middleburgh, a couple of days after my daughter was married there. We had a delightful conversation in which I told him how much I admired his career and his first question to me was, "What part of Massachusetts are you from?" RIP Robert Duvall. You were one of a kind.
What a likable lead character. And Egg is the best!
But a brilliant evil genius!
Theyβre just toying with us now.
I look forward to your stories! Enjoy your time there my friend. Tell the guys I said hello!
Needed to share this outstanding story by my friend @stevecraignh.bsky.social in the @pressherald.com about the impact ICE had on high school athletics:

None better than the crew in Foxborough!
The Washington Post sports section β Jenkins, Kornheiser, Wilbon, Povich, Boswell, Feinstein, Kindred, Culpepper, Clarke, Svrluga, Sheinin, on and on and on and on. The best of the best.
Imagine throwing away that legacy. For nothing.
For money.
When you already have the most money.
That is outstandingly, outrageously, tremendously terrific!
Been thinking back to the 2003(?) divisional game when they intercepted Peyton 4 times at snowy Gillette. Reminded me a little of that one, except this was a more physical beatdown.
Appreciate it. He was a much beloved member of the family and I knew I had to write something.
That might have been the greatest defensive game Iβve ever seen the Patriots play.
Still playing that?
If you live somewhere with clear skies you need to get outside and look at the full moon! It is spectacular!
Just stating a fact here my friends: Ruffles are the greatest snack chip ever invented. Thatβs it.
Merry Christmas my friends, from the marshmallow world that is Saco, Maine, today!
Merry Christmas Eve from the Winter Wonderland that is Saco, Maine!
The snow here in Maine really brings out the Christmas lights.
Excellent story Drew!
With the @newyorkgiants.bsky.social itβs not a matter of if theyβll lose, but how and when. Iβve followed this team for almost 60 years and itβs the same old story.
I want to see this in print!
Yes, today was the Final Round of Mike vs. The Leaves 2025! It was rather anticlimactic! Only 15 piles and 6 bags, brining our total to a paltry 38 bags this year β the second-lowest all-time. Finally a win for Mike!
Just watched the first episode of Welcome to Derry, the It prequel. OMG! It was terrifying!
That was absolutely atrocious!
