At my job as stage crew tech, I often jest that, “There are worst ways to make money”.

I’ve been playing through the remake of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, which has left me in the mood for Bond movies (Kojima was very influenced by Bond for MGS).

Went on MGM+ (which I pay for through Prime) … only to find none of the Bond films are on there.

‪If this leads to the video game movie boom (like what happened to comic book movies), the conversations around those movies are gonna be so much more obnoxiously volatile.

Finally getting around to seeing Christopher Nolan’s Tenet for the first time tonight, because the Odeon’s decided to show it.

Never got a chance to see it the first time around so this will be exciting.

This point is especially wild to make considering that Gunn just released a movie that endorses the Great Replacement Theory.

Gunn’s body of work is the real life equivalent of Patrick nailing a board to his head.

Was so excited for it, and I have yet to watch Part 2 and the director’s cuts of each.

The PG cut of Part 1 left me feeling a bit like,

Gum definitely helped as well. Mostly the same effect.

Downside of the gum was that all that chewing just made me hungrier 😂

Out of the two, the toothpick helped me more, but that’s also because I’m a fidgety person.

I’d say the gum is worth a try.

Was about to say this. When I quit smoking, having a toothpick in my mouth is the thing that helped fight off the craving the most.

This is something I’ve found myself wondering about.

Because I see something similar, over social media, where people complain about sympathetic, developed & morally complex villains and would rather have one note, paper thin “pure” evil villains and …
