Trump multiple times just today has said the country is at war. War can only be declared by Congress, and Iran posed no imminent threat. What Trump is doing there is a textbook illegal war and impeachable offense β€” if we still had a Congress.

Caitlin KALINOWSKI over X

I resigned from OpenAl. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together.
This wasn't an easy call. Al has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I'm proud of what we built together.

Qatar's energy minister has warned that war in the Middle East could "bring down the economies of the world", predicting that all Gulf energy exporters would shut down production within weeks and drive oil to $150 a barrel.
Saad al-Kaabi told the FT that even if the war ended immediately it would take Qatar "weeks to months" to return to a normal cycle of deliveries
following an Iranian drone strike at its largest liquefied natural gas plant.
Qatar, the world's second-largest producer of LNG, was forced to declare force majeure this week after the strike at its Ras Lattan plant.
While Qatar only exports a small proportion of its gas to Europe, the energy minister said the continent would feel significant pain as Asian buyers outbid Europeans for whatever gas is available on the market, and as other Gulf countries find themselves unable to meet their contractual obligations.

Something very fishy seems to be going on with Vance not appearing anywhere in public since Feb 25th.

Did he fall from grace with the smelly orange despot for NOT supporting the war games?

Shameful that Parliament makes no effort to rein in Farage or Cox to reasonable levels (= Β£40k on an MP’s salary). F & C clearly are full time on non-Parliament tasks.
And utterly dixgraceful that a massive Labour majority & a supposed Labour government does no reform at all. (Diagram Harry Eccles)

Anyone who wants Britain to join the war in Iran needs their head examined They don't know what they want to achieve, why they're doing it or what the consequences might be. They are lost in the void.

Superb.

I will miss Kristi Noem's inimitable constitutional insights, as when, asked by Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H. at a Senate hearing to define "habeas corpus," she replied, "Habeas corpus is a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country."

Nigel Farage says Trump presidency makes world better, safer place'
Nigel Farage has insisted Donald Trump becoming president for a belated second term will help make the world a "better, safer place".
The Reform UK leader has been vocal of his friendship with Trump, and even received a shoutout from the Republican during a recent rally.
This weekend, Reform UK are having a conference in Exeter, where Mr Farage remarked: "We can say with some confidence that 'woke' just died in America.
"Trump being there makes the world a better, safer place."

BADLY WRONG about Brexit.
It’s cost the UK economy alone circa Β£130bn.

BADLY WRONG about Trump.
Attacked more countries of any modern President.

Farage clearly has incredibly poor judgement, yet the mainstream media, ironically, constantly question Starmer’s.

🚨Today, the UK government announced harsh new asylum rules that will make refugee status for people fleeing war and persecution temporary.

These proposals are cruel, unworkable and undemocratic.

Lewis Goodall interviewed Priti Patel about US-Israel’s strikes on Iran, she wants UK to back thoseattacks. We are reminded of how she was forced out of govt for holding secret meetings with Israeli officials without proper disclosure. She is now suggesting we should not respect international law.
