I picked up sewing again! I’ve always been making things for work, but it feels nice to make something with my hands that’s just for me

A mock stamp set of two lovers, a butch with short brown hair and a trans woman with longer grey hair, each in their own individual stamps but reaching out to touch each other across the gap.

Overall, the broken borders show how queer people have always pushed the boundaries of the world around them. The colors blend purple and the lesbian and gay flags, faded to evoke a sense of nostalgia.

(These adorable characters are two lovers: a butch and a trans woman, named H. and Imogene!)

The finished headscarf! The indigo is a tradition of the Tuareg people (like Ousmane, the OC I threw into this historical AU to fit @taplingzines.bsky.social queer history zine), and the color was so rich and fun to paint

(Even though it did take me 3 hours 🫠)
