It's working now. I just did it
It's working now. I just did it
I know! I'm gutted
Slice it and stuff it in your gob. It's the only way
I'm so pleased for you. They usually do go very well and successfully from my relatives' experience. Sometimes the being able to move without pain actually takes a bit of getting used to - your brain is hardwired to brace yourself for the pain.
I hope your recovery and progress continues to go well
As many as THAT?!
I bow down to your cleaning enthusiasm
I somehow missed episodes 1-8, but I'll use catch up because I'm HOOKED.
When's ep 10?
*years'
I've watched since thebthird series in 2005. That's 20 year's service from me. Like Tess and Claud I've probably done my time
Every year for some time I've been saying I'm not watching it, but losing two of my favourites is too much.
I feel Gorka might have chosen his own fate, now he's judging in Spain. But strictly was EVERYTHING to Nadiya.
I'm going to sit in a dark room watching her on a loop being uberglam on ITT
NOOOO!!!! Gorka and Nadiya have gone from Strictly ๐
Luba and Michelle too. Not bothered about Luba, she had opportunities, but Michelle never really got to show us what she could do or who she was.
Having done a month's tour with a tiny backpack you have one set of smelly clothes and another set you only wear when you yourself are clean. Then you wear your night attire when you get an opportunity to put everything through the wash. You have a different perception of washing needs
That's so cute! Lovely photo ๐
How's everything?
I meant Fiona ๐
So yes, you can absolutely be excused
I won't be reading the book either for the same reasons as the film. Also, I don't like cinemas, so if there IS a film a I want to see, like you I wait to see it on my laptop via whatever catch up tv channel is streaming it
Also, crochet friends and sometimes when I take it into my head to run friends!
I haven't opened a newspaper since the early noughties. I don't have a tv but do watch a select few things on my laptop, so I'm not a million miles from you. And the series I refer to was at least 14 years ago. However, I somehow pick things up by osmosis so I'm aware of a lot more than you'd think
3rd cousin twice removed.
Possibly
An agin is an agin. No explanations or rationale needed.
But I'm a huge afor!
Anyway, I've not seen Hamnet and never will, because who wants to see a whole film about raw grief - we've all got our own to occupy us. But Jessie Buckley is an actor who LIVES and FEELS the part. Not in a pretentious method acting way, in an empathetic way. Nicole Kidman could take lessons
It was ages ago. Around 2009? Pretty trash tv. That's entirely why I watched all of them (they searched for leads in Wizard of Oz and Joseph too).
Jessie Buckley and Samantha Barks* were both contestants who started a successful career without actually winning
*West End/Broadway musicals star
It was I'd Do Anything, for the part of Nancy in Oliver!
(Not Somewhere Over The Rainbow for the part of Dorothy)
Whereas it's right up my alley and Elham's isn't so much. Angharad's sometimes is, sometimes isn't. Fynn's has a whimsy I love and his slightly chaotic approach which all turns out wonderfully in the end is something I relate to. He's been good in the 2nd challenges too
Gah. I've been in, sat on my arse watching Pottery Throwdown, and I've just had a message saying my parcel will be redelivered BECAUSE I WASNT IN!
(It was royal mail who usually do a proper knock that can be heard. Don't know what happened today)
Having said that, Fynn's concept is WOW!
Hmm. Not a big fan of the actual make. A pottery stage is just...
I'm not really over losing Bill. There were two weeks where he deserved potter of the week, at least jointly, and was robbed. He and Siobhan were so delightful together. I really wanted a 4 person final with our Bill fairly and squarely there. I feel he edged Elham (even tho she's adorable)
Until Hamnet she perhaps wasn't so mainstream. But she showed such talent in both her singing and acting from the get go. I'm firing you for not having seen I'd Do Anything (to play Nancy in Oliver!, not SOTR/Wizard of Oz) and rooting for her. Liza Minelli rated her dammit!

Ooh, I need to do that! Actually remembered it was on last night but I was too tired. Then forgot again. Good job you said...
You are both fired!
She's Oscar nominated for Hamnet, but done loads of other great performances (Wild Rose, Judy, Wicked Little Letters) and was runner up in Somewhere Over the Rainbow in about 2009 to play Dorothy in a musical version of Wizard of Oz. She is 19 here:
