Hi, I'm sure you know there is a No Kings 3 protest planned for March 28. It turns out that Indivisible Santa Fe, who is taking lead on organizing this one, has found the city to be intransigent in the permitting process, a failure that is both surprising and may be of interest to your news angle. ISF generally appreciates working closely with the city and state government, and would have thought Mayor Garcia would be sympathetic to the issue, but the opposite was true. He actually came to our Monday meeting and ranted about "policies, procedures, and protocols" without actually saying what those policies were or with an ability to defend them in the context of apparent First Amendment violations. 2/
