Sparrows are so underrated. I always feel so bad for the ones who are unfortunately born at big chain stores. When I read they don't normally leave a 3mile radius of where they're born...I just thought 🤔 why there's so much more out there. There's a reason that I'll never understand.

Yes those lil cotton balls on stilts! They're amazing! It's unbelievable they can hatch& feed themselves almost immediately. Unlike other birds. They're cute&smart! That is a great pic. They're really fast so it's hard to get pictures.
A Killdeer chick camouflaged quite nicely against a weathered curb near airport Road in Chehalis, Washington. It is a fuzzy blob of browns and buffs and white with long grayish pink legs.
