In my ideal-RPG, it'd actually UP your defense, buuuut you'd move slower and be suscepitible to popping.

An inflated knight with arrows pointing upward that say "Buoyancy up" and "Appeal up". There is also a downward arrow that says "Def down". Off to the right there is another party member with hearts around him saying "what a dream blimp!".

In a mood for inflatey RPG sillyness. Imagining a setting where buoyancy and appeal are significant advantages worth trading off defense for. Not sure what tho.

Her arms are stuck out to her sides by the ballooned sleeves, and she looks down in surprise as the updraft swells her once elegant outfit up to ridiculous proportions.

It's amazing how something as simple as 'standing in the wrong place' can be all it takes to turn an outfit from "Elegant, Charming, Refined" to "Wearable Hot Air Balloon" 💨
