I got started with zazen because it's so incredibly simple! I still do it sometimes but now with a hands-on-knees posture because it feels better to me. What cemented the habit was Soyen Shaku's koan My Heart Burns Like Fire where he says "In the morning before dressing, light incense and meditate"

It's going great. I got started by only meditating for 2 min a day. I now have it integrated as part of a pleasant morning ritual. I consider it one of if not the most important thing I do every day
