I had an amazing first @nrgseries.bsky.social of 2025! I got 2nd in the Modern 10K with Temur Grindr! I'm super happy with where @flexslot.gg landed on our take of the deck. I don't intend on slowing down. I'm not missing champs this year.
@fireshoes.bsky.social
I was considering a possibility where grapeshot couldn't kill, im not sure which one is definitively better, but I haven't had issues with Thassa's Oracle

I got top 4 in the challenge with Temur Grindr! The deck is a lot of fun and seems really broken. My final loss was the same opponent I lost to in the swiss rounds, they were on eldrazi ramp. The turtle warrior was great surprisingly lol no changes as of now

The modern changes are very exciting, but I just can't stop playing Standard
That sounds pretty appealing, I'll probably give that a try. I like the versatility that GSZ adds without the massive drawback of a pact trigger, these silver bullet creatures definitely get a lot better
This is where I'm at with GSZ Titan at the moment. Currently on a bunch of endurances and FoV's as I would expect a lot of mox opal and faithless looting to be running around.
1 seems like a dual land, 2 is a better plains
It would depend where they point the damage at, I'll continue to think about this
On second thought you either end up at 4 life with 1 creature in play or 1 life with 2 creatures in play at the end of either situation. Very strange.
yeah I'm still thinking about whether your line is better but I'm leaning towards it is, not sure 100%.
I actually went with a different line π The line talked explained above seems better in hindsight, but I cast floodcaller. thundertrap and floodcaller block mouse, otter block nemesis, bushwack otter and unblocked nemesis. I'm happy to see a better line though.

I had a pretty interesting situation I had to maneuver through in the MTGO Birds of Paradise Tournament today. Can you solve it?
It has been more enjoyable to play League of Legends than the modern format recently, and I think that says a lot
It's the best time of year!
I'm not sure if this is worth much but I think its pretty cool
Little otter guys (valley floodcaller)
just another little guy (thundertrap trainer)
Standard is so good right now I can't get enough of these little guys
I agree 100% but I also understand there will always be a "best deck". I just don't want that deck to be so far ahead of everything else and warp the format negatively. I just fear that banning Ring and something from energy doesn't address a lot of other problems.
Real, standard is so much better anyway
I dislike this current modern format more than Nadu, and I have no idea how it could be fixed.

At least 3 LGSs in our area got robbed this weekπ‘
Most LGS margins are already paper thin! They mainly exist to give us a space to play our favorite games!
If you see anybody in the Midwest selling suspicious quantities of Magic items, please report it!
I love these Chicagoland RCQ's because the caliber of players at some of these are through the roof. The most recent one had multiple RC champions, MOCS champion, etc.
Please tell me this is the pre-match walk-up song
Can't leave home without it
Thanks, I couldn't find his account

I top 8'd my first Standard Challenge with this Druid Burn deck from Stanley2099! This deck rocks! Ever since Foundations spoilers, I had a feeling this would be the best deck and am yet to be proven wrong lol. I can't wait to keep playing this deck!π₯π₯π₯

I would highly recommend checking out the sideboard guide made by @jabjabber.flexslot.gg! Like I said I had no reps on this deck and just followed the guide for the match-ups shown.
