Damn, she really surprised me there.

The Dead Space remake for โฌ8.99 is a steal. If you haven't played it yet, now's the perfect opportunity to grab it on Steam.
So fluffy

So satisfying to just stab zombies with the knife or axe.
I started an easy run yesterday to memorize the needed paths. Then I'll try to at least get the below 4 hours achievement.
So ~9 dollar per gallon
Here it's over 2โฌ per liter.
Added it to the wishlist. I trust the CySeal of Quality.
Thx for the tip! Looks nice! But imagine 4K HDR rendered video backdrops and using all rendering power on the characters and lighting. OK you won't be able to use flashlights or other light sources that are moved in real time but with some creativity I'm sure you could do some cinema like visuals.
Nope, never heard of it. Let me check...
True and some awesome gameplay changes. I really wish someone would try the fixed camera technique again. With modern techniques, like ray traced lighting, I'm sure you could manage to achieve a movie like rendering quality.
The remake had pre-rendered videos instead of fixed frames. Because of this they were able to use all polygons for the characters and enemies. The remake still looks awesome after 24 years. The only downside is that the backdrops were only rendered in 720p but RE Zero has 1080p backdrops.
Looks like a huge improvement. I had to play with DLSS set to performance to get >100 fps before the patch and now I get a similar performance with DLSS quality.
Nvidia driver hot fix and a patch for RE9 are available to improve path tracing performance.
"Fine, then better pray that none of your precious bits decides to switch states randomly." Would be my response.
I bet he's rotating at higher speeds than any HDD because of how we use AI and facial recognition.
As long as people aren't using flash memory for archiving purposes they can do what they want. ๐
*cough* turing completeness ๐
If I ever need a good cry...
I mean you don't need random access on a backup anyways so the speed isn't a problem.
To me it's only rude while watching a movie. ๐
Yeah as far as I remember they were only used for backups but then rather quickly replaced by tapes again. I've even seen and heard the old humongous HDDs in action. Incredibly loud and according to my dad head crashes were pretty common.
I told everyone "in 2-3 years everyone of you will scroll all day and I won't be the geek fiddling with his phone all day anymore". I wasn't wrong. ๐
