Torso I drew for an exquisite corpse for a zine that never got published. (To be clear, I submitted it to someone else’s zine project that they didn’t follow through with.) Another artist on the exquisite corpse was going to be Mike Diana, so I was pretty disappointed that the project fell through.

So even Bluesky will suspend an art account. What a bunch of chickenshit bullshit.

Throwback: The first Goonhead tattoo I ever did, and it was freehanded on Seth Campbell who’s an awesome tattooer himself. 👹

Memorial tattoos don’t always have to be portraits. Riley’s Italian grandma kept a garden and a pear tree in her yard in East Boston, and when he came in from playing as a child, she would great him with fresh sliced pears.

I don’t own an ipad so I’ve only dabbled, but not long enough to get comfortable drawing on one. It does seem like a big time saver so I’m not ruling it out in the future. There’s just something organic about the tactile feeling of pencil on paper that is more satisfying to me.

And yes I still draw on paper. I’m 43 years old and I’ve been drawing tattoos this way for 18 years. It just feels more natural to me.
