Ooooh, I love this ❤️
The work you’ve already done on it is so incredible! I can’t wait to see the next steps 😍
That is beautiful!
That green is so vibrant! 💚
This was a big project that took much longer than expected, but I think all the work paid off in the end! The blog post for this 1850s dress project is now up! ✨

It’s all held together with pins right now, but I’m pretty excited about how this is looking!

Train’s almost there! Just need a few more details to wrap it up. ✨
Steadily working on the black Victorian ballgown. The front of the dress is pretty much done now, so it’s on to the train!
So trying to knife pleat metallic chiffon has been a special kind of torture, but I think I finally have the process down. It’s at about 7 or 8 steps for each section of pleating, but at least I now have nice crisp pleats!

The yearly wrap-up post is now up! While this year wasn’t particularly productive, I did manage to get posts up for some things I finished in previous years, and even managed a new petticoat tutorial. I’m looking forward to seeing what 2025 brings.

The dress was finished just in the nick of time! I sewed the last of my accessories in my hotel room at Dickens, finishing 1 hour before my first event. 😅 I’m thrilled with how it turned out, and so happy to have these awesome photos from inside the gorgeous b&b I was staying in.
Dickens dress finished, and just in the nick of time!
Thank you!
Very pleased with this weekend’s progress. It’s starting to look like a dress! 😀
What’s one more social to keep up with, right? Anyway, finished this skirt yesterday!
