How to write: Stop not writing. Keep your butt in the chair. Write really bad small sections of the wholeβpassages, moments, episodes, memoriesβtil you have an incredibly shitty 1st draft. Then take out the boring parts, the lies and pretensions. Then write a better 2nd draft.
Hey, Chapter 6 of my in-production audiobook of "Germaine Grey" is now on YouTube for free listening! youtu.be/wY0MkCKuLtI?...

There's no such thing as "too much garlic." (Thank you for coming to this part-Italian's TED talk)
My kids watched old "Whose Line Is It Anyway" episodes with me today. Now they're playing the "Questions Only" game in the living room.
My 5-year-old daughter just farted on my lap.
Me: Eww! Why'd you fart on me?!
Her: (shrugs) I'm just a weird girl.
Fatherhood is rarely boring...
It may not solve all of the worldβs problems, but I think we can all agree that having more bakeries, libraries, museums, and bookstores would be an important first step.

Listening to Andry Serkis (of Gollum fame) read the whole "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy" on Audible is such a giant dopamine hit. The man is a voice-acting goldmine!
Random movie/TV quote of the day:
"I hate so much about the things you choose to be."
Name the show/character!
Random movie/TV quote of the day:
"You make me want a wetter brain."
Name the show/character!
I did that for 8 years when I did factory work. Blissful.
I challenge anyone who asserts that The Princess Bride isnβt one of the greatest films ever made.
You keep on using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Dogs on a walk look so happy. Some look like they're working and they're really proud of the job they're doing, some look like they just got out of work and they're off snowboarding for the weekend, and some look like they just got engaged and they're still too emotional to speak.
My book characters are lazy and don't want to be written. Oh, wait...

Libraries matter more than ever now! They embody a beautiful & brilliant idea that we must never stop defending. The idea that knowledge is free & belongs to EVERYONE. We all need to support our libraries & librarians - especially when people seek to ban books & free thinking. #libraries #books
