A social media ban would make some kids collateral damage. Queer kids face isolation with a ban unless good alternatives are available to them. Good article. Email your MP. www.libdemvoice.org/why-banning-...
Certainly it looks like vorticity from heat as you say. I wonder if there was bigger circulation at the base. It's a bit difficult to tell from a single image. That said, I have no desire to see the horror of war yet here we have it.
Things have come to a pretty pass when as we approach peak convective storm season in the US and I see what I think is destructive tornado and it turns out to be an Iranian oil depot burning...
I thought that too. The image on the BBC news website even had the suggestion of a satellite vortex.
Agree. The Conversation has a good piece on the lessons from the Chilcot inquiry and why the βspecial relationshipβ will survive this brief moment of disagreement.
This is superlative.

Another spectacular catch! I was slightly expecting Monty Pythonesque surrealism for a moment.
To be fair, I think I did first start wearing shorts in 2025 during March last year. I don't remember the flies though. πͺ°
MPox cases rising in England especially in the Northwest. If you are having multiple sexual partners, group sex and visit sex-on-premises venues it would be wise to ensure you're protected. Vaccination is up to 80% protective and is free from sexual health clinics. #Mpox #SexualHealth

I'm just glad the sunshine reaches the ground, otherwise we'd have to climb up hills to see it!
Thank you for the update. It's dismal and an awful failure to protect children.
This afternoon, at report stage of the Govts mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse bill, it was revealed in the HoL that Prof. Jay, Prof. Sir Malcolm Evans + Ivor Frank, 3 of 4 of IICSA's panel members, wrote to the Home Sec on Friday urging Govt to significantly strengthen its proposal /1

Hi James... good to see you on here. On the temperature anomaly is it reasonable to group those selected years given that the range is wide and therefore the climate is not the same as in the earliest years in that dataset? So, maybe we're looking at a continued 1.5ΒΊC anomaly this Summer?
Of course, just washed the car!
Another rather 'warm' and sunny afternoon on the Hill up to 14.7ΒΊC with light winds so feeling warmer than that. The garden is responding quickly to rising temperatures now. More to come this week with Wednesday and Thursday looking sunny and even warmer.
Admit youβre concerned about the climate emergency?

Truly, truly, truly disgusting.
Keep this Trumpist race baiting out of British politics.
I didn't know about the Green's poster. Sadly, the era of campaigns being respectful to other parties died a long time ago. Social media must be to blame too. Re car driving - it was our Labour council who made it difficult for drivers with an LTN - nothing to do with pollution at all - all cars.
Apologies, here is what they actually said. It's a leap, let's be honest and it's not surprising this they referred this to the Police. To be fair what they are advocating is decriminalisation. There's a difference from legalisation. They argue it's about safety of those involved.
Less grifters, more integrity.
Before you go, I just want to say I was most excited at the return to speaking about closer links with Europe. I want Brexit undone, but you can't have everything. I hope we can be bolder. Let's keep up the fight!
"Professor Jacob George is recused from *further* involvement on the Pathways clinical trial as a precaution.β
Am pleased they admit he was involved. But you can't cure bias after the fact and our lawyers will be writing to the MHRA about its ascientific 'concerns' about the trials.
I do think it's the members who need to feedback. Thanks for clarifying your stance. I am sure the Greens have naivety in certain areas. I'm not sure they'd be the car crash that is USA's foreign policy currently! We do live in dangerous times. We will get through this. Hope not hate?
