Graphic showing that the stretch goal for Shadowdark and Mythic Bastionland conversion kits is unlocked!
My stretch goal for @andrewmcalpine.bsky.social & @jedediahberry.bsky.social's Valley of Flowers sequel is UNLOCKED! I'm excited to write a guide on how to run their newest book, The Saintly Hollows, using Shadowdark.
The campaign has 7 days left, but why wait?

Its Jennell jaquays birthdat. She left this realm last January. Her her adventure design and artwork made a bigger impact on me than any other judges guild writer. I even used the color scheme from Hellpits of Nightfang for inspiration when illustrating Duginthroat Divided. Here's a small tribute.
Not to be too terribly mercenary, but we've got a kickstarter coming up soon and I'd love to get more folks' eyes on it. Have a podcast? Blog? Magazine? TV empire? Wanna talk about Wildendrem? Hit me up!
The next two (!) books of the Wildendrem tabletop RPG setting are coming soon to Kickstarter. #osr www.kickstarter.com/projects/626...
RPG folk! Who's gonna be at GenCon?
Yo whoβs gonna be at GenCon this year? Any vendors gotta little space to sell some Phantom Mill stuff?
Very proud of these lil guys!
Itβs been a joy following your campaign!
No worries, just thrilled youβre playing VoF!
Really love where you took this and how you made it your own!
Love it!!
Kicked off 1st new Read Books Punch Nazis campaignβnow with tank tops, hoodies, etc.
100% of profits β‘οΈ CCATE! Their mission: "to ignite social transformation by developing the talents of and empowering the Latinx community through culture, art, career development, and education."
Wear with pride!
There was so much good shit this year that it was hard to narrow it down. So--what did y'all love? What should I check out?
Yazeba's B&B by a bunch of folks. This game is way outside my usual diet, but I think it is a true storygaming masterpiece. A shocking amount of game in a drop-dead gorgeous package, a gentle and moving experience stuffed to the gills with stunning bits of design. Would encourage all to investigate
Unconfirmed Contact Reports by lots of people. The whole box set is cool, but this booklet stood out to me. I LOVE that it turns the traditional bestiary (which I don't really care about) into a gold mine of adventure seeds. These are not things to kill--they are things to investigate, solve, LOVE
HMtW by Josh McCrowell. I'm an RPG book pervert--I want them all, I want to make them kiss like action figures. But I have massive respect for the everything book, the game that is so overflowing with good systems/processes that you could run it for years with one volume. This is one such book!
Beyond the Pale by Yochai Gal. When it comes to adventures, I crave specificity. For me, DnD is primarily about wonder and exploration. When I play through someone else's module I want to feel like I'm pointcrawling through their brain, their personal obsessions, their fascinations. This KILLS
(in no particular order)
Electrum Archive #2 by Emiel Boven & Ava Islam. Love the format, love the art, vibes in this book are off the charts. Issue 1 was beautiful and engaging but a little skeletal re: gameable content, this new issue is a perfect companion. Singular vision, executed masterfully
Helllooooo it's noon on January 15th, the year has rolled over, 2024 was Not My Favorite Year in many ways but a way in which it ruled is that I read a lot of very good TTRPG books. Here, for funsies, is a list of my faves. Now these didn't all necessarily come out in 2024, but all are recent.
Printed manuscript bearing the title KILL ALL WIZARDS. Also a brushed metal fountain pen.
And thereβs the new book off to my editor. Iβll have some exciting news to share about this one soonβ¦
