Photocopy/Xerox scan photo filter effect I'm working on atm. Really quick and easy to put together but a very nice effect imo.
Have to admit, I'm kind of in love with this new photo filter effect I've been working on. The sheer variety I'm able to get out of it with various parameter changes is just awesome. #glsl #creativecoding #art

Not sure what to call this image filter/effect. Combines lots of different things -> posterization, heavy color noise, blur, color mapping, chromatic aberration, bloom, etc.
'Neon Topology' photo filter/effect is now production ready. Tons of parameters to control. Here's a few of my fav pics.
It still surprises me the kind of performance improvements I often see when applying spatial binning/hashing (when relevant ofc). It's completely logical and expected...but still to see 2+ sec complex effect renders drop to ~50ms is so satisfying.
Kept working on my edge detection code code and did some pretty interesting things with the canny method :-)

Implementing a variety of different edge detection algorithms in my app today (just finished sobel, scharr, laplacian, canny). Testing out with a pic on my bike :-)

Spent the morning working on a shader implementation of radial blur (like from photoshop). Implemented both spin and zoom. Ended up being rather simple and less than ~40 lines of #glsl. Nice little utility for my app.
