The image features the highly ornate 14th-century Percy Tomb canopy located inside Beverley Minster. This intricate structure is considered a masterpiece of English Decorated Gothic stone carving, likely created by skilled masons around 1340. It is known for its "nodding ogee" arch, a rare and exquisite style of carving that escaped destruction during the Reformation. The tomb was possibly built to commemorate Lady Eleanor Fitz Alan Percy, a wealthy noblewoman. Beverley Minster itself is one of the largest and most magnificent parish churches in the UK
Widely accepted as one of the finest examples of English decorative stone carving in existence, the Percy Canopy in Beverley Minster dates to between 1340 and 1349. It is possibly in commemoration of Eleanor, daughter of Richard Fitz Alan, earl of Arundel

This is St Peter's Church in Wawne, East Yorkshire. The church is a Grade I Listed Building with earliest features dating from circa 1290. It is noted for its mix of construction materials, including cut stone, rubble, and medieval brick in the clerestory. The church is in a quiet, rural setting despite its proximity to Hull.
