Get Roxette on the cassette player and plan all THE outfits! I only went to the charity shop once this week and sadly, I bought a few things. Of course I did.
A coat from the charity shop for days like today which are cold but emerging. I did not need another coat but I love the blue and I will feel cornflower when I wear it. Oh and with a mustard mini dress? Red tights? Just of course. Of course.

Today I went to a eco-poetry workshop with @angelacleland.co.uk run by the brilliant @brihughespoet.bsky.social from RHUL. We wrote poems and Angela’s hair matched the prompt card I was given and the sun was out and how good does it feel to actually write some new poems.

I’ve decided that this is the year I release BLACK DOE into the wild. I still have a couple of irons in the fire, but if they fizzle out, she is ready to go. I’ve done loads of work on this book with @annasmithwrites.bsky.social at @thewriteadvice.bsky.social and I want you to be able to read it.
This morning by 7am I had applied for a residency, made Shakshouka, edited my chapter, and looked up the recipe for mushroom stroganoff, which I made at 9am. I am due on and have a lot to do. I do too much when I am due on, and cook too much when I am stressed. Oh the joy! ❤️
How it will be from now until mid-April. You’ll always have the wrong outfit on and live with a sense of regret.
Today is one of those days for layers. Hot, cold etc. These are complex days of dressing. And am I cosplaying my old job atm. Writing up makes me feel I’m yearning for doors to manual and cross check.
