Which feels so out of character for Hannibal, for his actions to be guided by emotions, but Will wasn’t ready to leave with him or accept/understand his gift at the end of s2, and, really, Hannibal wasn’t ready either, and it made Abigail just collateral damage when she could’ve been so much more.💔
And I think with Abigail, Hannibal was trying to give Will what he himself could never have with Misha—the greatest gift, to get as close to turning back the time as possible. And it was the betrayal that made him act impulsively and rushed (even if he knew killing Abigail was always an option)
Oh, thank you for saying this! It always seems like there’s so little support for even a possibility of the three of them. :( And I feel the same way, what he did to Abigail for some reason hurt the most and was the hardest part to accept.
