It’s a 13 year data set. And yes you are correct SOME of the locals quite happily sit (in shorts) gritting their teeth over porridge in the blighting gale hurling itself thru the door/s. But times are changing - more cosmopolitan means more pleasant dining experiences … surely. I BEG!

I need answers. Why in NZ on a day which is 13 degrees and raining and windy, do cafes have multiple doors open? Is this a Dunedin thing? Whole of country? I’ve been told it’s to ‘ventilate the kitchen’. Dont kitchens have extractor fans? People sit in cafes in coats and puffers. #NewZealand #Kiwi
