The THEME for the PATRONS session is: Taking Comfort With Swatching. When I’m kind of burnt out, or feeling the pangs of an art block, decision fatigue, or when life just feels a bit too overwhelming, I love to just swatch and play with colours and pattern. It’s an activity I like to do without any judgement or expectation on myself. It’s a comfy space. I’d love to spend this session with you doing just that. Let’s play and connect with these colours and create a little bit of a colour library.What you’ll need this session: Loose paper or sketchbook, art materials (watercolours, gouache, ink, pencils, markers - whatever you want!), a brush, paper towel/rag, water. The THEME for the PUBLIC session is: Colour Palette Experiments We’re going to take a lot of the swatches and colour experiments we did last week and put them into practice for this session!I’m going to provide some reference images and we are going to paint or draw (whatever you’d like!) them four times using four very different palettes. This is going to help us become a little more daring and, in turn, more comfortable when selecting colours for our work. What you’ll need this session: Loose paper or sketchbook and your art materials (your choice)

Ugh the scented inks aren’t very nice, smell-wise and they ALWAYS bleed!! Just make is standard ink please! BUT the orange colour is SO GOOD! And didn’t bleed on the real nice paper 🤷🏻♀️🫥🙃🫠

I abandoned my Inktober challenge back in December after 14 days… so I finally opened up the rest of the mystery inks and made a painting with them!
